3-5-26 THOUGHTS
We sing a wonderful song that follows these words. We hope in God as we contemplate His eternal goodness toward us! We need to wait quietly and submissively for God’s salvation! Are to learn the disciplines of work and self-control in our youth. Being joyful as we bear fruit in a part of God’s way! Our God tells us what is good for a person!
Lam 3:21-27 This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. 22 The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him." 25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him. 26 It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the LORD. 27 It is good for a man that he should bear The yoke in his youth.
Our Prayer:
Lord, may we wait for You in all things and seek You with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength. Thank you for lovingkindnesses that produce a hope that floods our souls. May we all learn the discipline and self control that leads us to a humble love that serves You, O God. We know love because You first loved us. Thank You, Father, in the name of our Lord... Amen.
